Dark Blue by Hugo Boss is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for men. It was launched in 1999. Hugo Dark Blue was created by Alain Astori and Beatrice Piquet.

• Top notes: Ginger, Grapefruit, Orange, Lime and Lemon
• Middle notes: Cypress, Mahogany, Cardamom, Geranium and Sage
• Base notes: Vanilla, Cedar, Benzoin, Vetiver and Patchouli

Dark Blue is soft, rich, and surprisingly relaxing. It’s classified as an “Oriental Spicy” fragrance, because it’s a blend of so many different notes. It’s hard to pinpoint any standout, but that’s part of its charm. The citrus notes are softened by warm spices and wood, with just enough vanilla to keep it from venturing into sweet territory. The drydown has a powdery soft spice that’s incredibly sexy and seductive.
